Registration is open for the FREE Enjoy Your Baby: For Parents of a New Baby.It is a mental health promotion course for parents and caregivers of a new baby.
You will learn how to build confidence as a parent, feel closer to your baby, manage and cope with low mood, stress and anxiety, and connect with other parents in a welcoming and comfortable setting.
Based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Enjoy Your Baby is a five-session for parents of a new baby ages 0 to 12 months old.
The skills and resources provided to navigate the postpartum stage are led by a certified trainer.
It starts Thursday Oct 1 and runs for five weeks at CMHA Vernon, 3100 28th Avenue. 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
