ENJOY THE SILENCE UK are a well-established UK-based DEPECHE MODE tribute band which formed out of the ashes of highly respected DM act SPEAK & SPELL. ENJOY THE SILENCE UK have established themselves a formidable live reputation, playing at the prestigious ISLE OF WIGHT FESTIVAL on the same line-up as Sting, Alison Moyet and Midge Ure plus being invited back for 2026 to be on the bill with The Cure.ENJOY THE SILENCE UK; WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT TO OTHER DM TRIBUTES? We aim to replicate the classic-era DEPECHE MODE live experience, delivering sets which can either be singles-heavy or more diverse, including album tracks/rarities for a more discerning DM audience The band has a strong visual appeal with live drum kit for DM’s more rockier elements, electronic percussion for earlier Vince Clarke-era songs, guitar, three part harmonies and synchronised background digital graphics for venues that can accommodate them.
The band line-up comprises Nic Price [‘Dave Gahan’ vocals], Russ Harvey [‘Martin Gore’ vocals/guitar/synth/melodica/programming], Paul Boddy [synths/live electronic percussion/programming/visuals + Andy Jones [live drums/electronic percussion/backing vocals.
