The band formed from Speak & Spell, one of the more respected DM acts around, together with members of Human League tribute Love Distraction. Nic Price handles Dave Gahan's vocals and stage presence, Russ Harvey covers Martin Gore across guitar, synth and melodica, Paul Boddy is on synths and live visuals, and Andy Jones plays live drums. The result is Depeche Mode with the weight and atmosphere of the originals, played by people who clearly know the records inside out.
