These stories are filled with adventure, nature, courage, and imagination – from deep forests and snowy landscapes to mythical creatures and brave heroes.

In the dark days of November, we gather, light a candle, and enjoy a good story. Throughout the week, libraries and cultural institutions offer readings and activities that introduce children to the unique voices and traditions of Nordic storytelling.
