About this Event
English sparkling wine is now taking on the best of Champagne, and we’re putting it to the test with Scottish cheese.
Join us at Caru by Candlelight for a relaxed, guided evening of four English sparkling wines, each served alongside a cheese picked to bring out the best in the glass. Our sommelier Donella will lead the tasting. She’ll explain where each wine is grown and how it’s made, what to look for as you taste, and why each pairing works.
You don’t need to know anything about wine to come. Whether you’re a fizz fan or just curious, it’s a fun way to learn a bit, try something new and spend an evening by candlelight with good food and drink.
