About this Event
Welcome to The Church of The Village, home of Country Dance New York (CDNY). All our events are with live musicians: We host English Country Dances every Tuesday and Contra dances on alternate Saturdays.

Info: At the end of the first half of the dance, we have a waltz and then take a fifteen-minute break. During the break period, snacks are provided and organizers are present to answer any questions to people may have.

Breakdown of the Venue
Info: The community pitches in and helps us breakdown the venue. Afterwards, several of the dancers typically go out to one of the local diners for food and drinks. The more the merrier!
