EXPERT LECTURES AND CASE-BASED PRESENTATIONS IN VASCULAR SURGERY, PODIATRY, AND WOUND CARE

This symposium brings together esteemed faculty delivering focused lectures on selected vascular topics, followed by a dynamic case competition. Each case is designed to spark intense, expert-led discussion and debate, creating an interactive forum for clinical decision-making, surgical strategy, and innovation.

Open to all; medical students, residents, and fellows especially welcome.

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS – SHOWCASE YOUR WORK

Submit an abstract for consideration as a podium presentation in two categories:

• Clinical Research: Original research related to patient care. Projects may include prospective or retrospective studies. Research may include, but is not limited to, a focus on diagnosis, therapy, prognosis, incidence/prevalence of disease, or clinical outcomes.
• Interesting Cases: Reports of clinical cases that provide insight into clinical practice. The abstract should include a description of the case, a brief review of past published relevant cases, possible complications, a discussion of why the case is unique, and how it adds to the literature.
  

Winners in each category will compete for a grand prize.
$500: Winner, each of five sessions
$1,000: Overall symposium winner

Submission Guidelines

Abstracts should:

• Be based on finished products, completed over the last 12–15 months;
• Be no more than 400 words;
• Include a maximum of two images;
• Include standard sections: background, objectives, methods, results, and discussion/conclusion

Submission deadline: Wednesday, September 30, 2026

Format:

• 5-minute presentation followed by a 2-minute Q&A
