We invite you to the first installment of the CMAC Culture Tour! The Culture Tour offers us the opportunity to become tourists in our own city, discovering the history and fascinating facts about the neighborhoods we call home.
We're kicking off the series on March 29th with a two-hour tour of Englewood, led by local historian Sherman "Dilla" Thomas. Englewood is a vibrant Chicago neighborhood with a rich tapestry of Black culture, music festivals, and community spirit.
Tickets are $50, which includes the two tour (inclusive of gratuity) and snacks.
We'll meet at Truth Restaurant (56 E Pershing Rd, Chicago IL, 60653) for a 9:00 AM pickup.
The tour will end at the same location.
For those interested, there will be an optional brunch at Truth Italian Restaurant following the tour. Please note that brunch costs will be the responsibility of each participant.
