About this Event
Targeting New Hampshire leaders across industry, nonprofits, and higher education, this interactive workshop focuses on Collaborative Leadership in the context of Bioethics Community Engagement for Public Life. Our curriculum, theoretically grounded, tested and applied, aids collaborative and civic capacity among stakeholders who have a shared interest in developing New Hampshire workers and citizens. Participants who complete the two-day course will receive the Language of Collaborative Leadership microcredential through the University of New Hampshire, College of Liberal Arts. The course will interweave communication curriculum and space to share experience across these subjects:
Day 1: January 29
Collaboration for the Public Good: Building Partnerships Among Science, Ethicists, and Industry
Beyond Debate: Negotiating Diverse Perspectives, Communication Assumptions, Dialogue & Listening
Locating Interdependence: Partnership Mapping the Problem Domain & Identifying Interests
Day 2: Feb 5
Prioritizing Interests: Rethinking Conflict and Difficult Conversations

Though the curriculum is established, this is the first year we are offering the digital badge. Therefore this inaugural workshop is offered at the nominal price of $100.00. Future digital badge workshops are valued at $1,300.
