About this Event
Ideathon 2026 — Pitch it. Solve it. Scale it.
An ideathon is like a hackathon, but instead of building an app, you spend the weekend developing and pitching a real solution to a real problem. No coding required.
Want to find out, first-hand, how startups are actually built? Join 100 young people for 48 hours of hands-on innovation at the Collective Incubator Aachen. No experience required, just curiosity, and the willingness to jump in.
What you'll do
Team up with people you've never met, tackle a real-world challenge handpicked from the Aachen ecosystem, and build a concrete solution from scratch, from first sketch to final pitch. Mentors from the startup scene are by your side the whole way, pushing your thinking without doing the work for you.
What's in it for you
- Real problems, real impact not a simulation, not a case study
- Direct access to founders and startup experts as mentors
- A hands-on crash course in how ideas actually become ventures
- A team and a network that might outlast the weekend
- Food and drinks covered, all you bring is yourself
