Meet Patricia Mungcal, changemaker from the Philippines, who will share her perspective on empowerment and climate justice in the challenges of our time. Her input will be followed by a conversation with Brittis Edman and Henrik Grape.Patricia Mungcal is Humanitarian Response Manager and Assistant Program Director at the National Council of Churches in the Philippines (NCCP). Her work focuses on disaster risk reduction, climate change adaptation, and climate justice in partnership with churches and faith-based organizations at local, national, and global levels.
Brittis Edman is professional human rights advocate at the Swedish Institute for Human Rights.
Rev. Henrik Grape is Senior Advisor on Care for Creation, Sustainability and Climate Justice, World Council of Churches.
This lecture and panel discussion is held in cooperation with Malmö University and the Leadership for Sustainability master’s programme.
