Mae’r sesiwn dysgu proffesiynol ymarferol hon wedi’i chynllunio ar gyfer Cynorthwywyr Addysgu sy’n gweithio i Ddinas a Sir Abertawe yn unig. Mae’n canolbwyntio ar rôl yr oedolyn galluogi dysgu a sut gall rhyngweithio effeithiol rhwng oedolion a phlant gefnogi dysgu, annibyniaeth ac ymgysylltiad. Bydd cyfranogwyr yn archwilio sut gall eu hiaith, eu hymddygiad a’r amgylchedd dysgu gael effaith gadarnhaol ar ganlyniadau i ddysgwyr.
Amcanion y Sesiwn
Bydd y sesiwn yn datblygu dealltwriaeth cyfranogwyr o egwyddorion allweddol yr oedolyn galluogol, gan ganolbwyntio ar:
- defnyddio iaith effeithiol i gefnogi dysgu
- creu amgylcheddau sy’n hyrwyddo annibyniaeth a dewis
- gwybod pryd i gynnal a chefnogi dysgu heb ymyrryd yn rhy gyflym
- myfyrio ar eu hymarfer eu hunain er mwyn gwella eu heffeithiolrwydd
Bydd cyfranogwyr hefyd yn archwilio strategaethau ymarferol, enghreifftiau bywyd go iawn a dulliau
cydweithredol i gryfhau eu rôl wrth gefnogi dysgu o ansawdd uchel.
Target Audience
This practical professional learning session is designed for Teaching Assistants employed by the City and County of Swansea only. It focuses on the role of the enabling adult and how effective adult interactions can support children’s learning, independence and engagement. Participants will explore how their language, actions and the learning environment can positively influence outcomes for learners.
Session Aims
The session will develop participants’ understanding of key principles of the enabling adult, with a focus on:
- using effective language to support learning
- creating environments that promote independence and choice
- recognising when to scaffold learning rather than intervene too quickly
- engaging in reflective practice to improve their own effectiveness
Participants will also explore practical strategies, real-life examples and collaborative approaches to strengthen their role in supporting high-quality learning experiences.
