The Empowering Caregivers Series is a three-part educational program held once a month and facilitated by Sandy Hatt, an Alzheimer’s Association facilitator, in partnership with MDI Health and Birch Bay Village.Each 60-minute program provides caregivers with practical information and strategies to help navigate the responsibilities of caring for someone living with dementia.

11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m at Birch Bay Retirement Village
The series will cover three topics: Supporting Independence, Communicating Effectively, and Responding to Dementia-Related Behaviors. Participants are welcome to attend one, two, or all three sessions.
