For October, we are doing something a little different and I'm delighted that Jennifer Lynch will be joining us to share her story and talk about the many benefits of being empowered through dance.Jennifer's love of dance began at the age of 16. After taking a break to have children when life took over, she returned to dancing following her divorce in 1997 — and it has remained an important part of her life ever since.
Over the years, Jennifer has enjoyed many different Latin dance classes and now dances Salsa and Bachata.
In 2026, she took another step in her dance journey and started teaching a small group of women in Diss — Diss Latin Dance Divas.
For Jennifer, dance is about much more than learning steps. It's about confidence, connection, self-expression, wellbeing and feeling good about yourself. 💃❤️
Jennifer is also the author of Salsa, which she wrote during lockdown to quite literally keep her in the groove while waiting for dancing to return! 😄
📖 Jennifer will be bringing copies of Salsa along on the day, so you'll have an opportunity to find out more about the book.
And there's more...
💃 Jennifer will be teaching us some basic Bachata during the session!
Come along, have some fun, learn a few moves and discover how dance can help us feel more confident, connected and empowered. ❤️
