Delaware Sensory Museum invites families, educators, community partners, supporters, and friends of the movement to the Empower Play Open House at EastSide Charter School.
Empower Play is our inclusive after-school experience designed for children ages 3–13, creating opportunities for children of all abilities and unique needs to build confidence, explore their interests, develop social connections, and experience the power of play in an environment designed with them in mind.
This Open House is an opportunity to see the space, learn about the program, meet the team, and experience what we are building together.

Why Empower Play?
For many families, finding meaningful after-school opportunities that accommodate different ways of communicating, learning, playing, and participating can be challenging.
Empower Play was created to help close that gap.
We believe children should have access to spaces where they don't have to fit into a predetermined mold to participate. Instead, the environment should create room for children to explore their strengths, build relationships, discover new interests, and be themselves.
This program is part of Delaware Sensory Museum's larger vision to create more inclusive spaces and experiences for children and families throughout Delaware.
