About this Event
A transformational experience blending leadership, resilience, identity and real pathways into employment and enterprise.
Join us for the official launch of 70 Years of Courage – From Survival to Contribution, a powerful memoir spanning seven decades of humanitarian service, business leadership and human transformation.
Step into the Legacy Walk Exhibition, a curated journey where participants challenge long‑held beliefs, shift limiting narratives and reconnect with their own capacity for contribution.
Experience a moving short film, a keynote on identity and leadership, and two expert panels featuring organisations from employment, training, enterprise and social enterprise pathways - offering practical, actionable steps for refugees, migrants and community members ready to take their next step today.
Enjoy an open buffet lunch, soft drinks and dessert, while networking with business leaders, settlement organisations, employment providers and community groups.
This is more than an event.
It is a movement from survival to contribution - a powerful reminder of what becomes possible when courage meets opportunity.
Why Vivianne?
Vivianne’s message was not developed from theory.
Her journey spans seven decades, three continents and nearly 20 years of humanitarian service with UNHCR across eight countries. She spent years helping displaced people rebuild their lives - before becoming a refugee herself and rebuilding her own life in Australia.
She later spent 21 years as an entrepreneur leading medical practices, before beginning another chapter as a leadership consultant, speaker, author and Founder of Future Power Academy.
Her legacy memoir, 70 Years of Courage – From Survival to Contribution, brings those experiences together — the doors that closed, the decisions that changed direction, the rebuilding, the leadership and the lessons that emerged along the way.
On 19 September, the book will be officially launched - but the afternoon is not about looking back at Vivianne’s life.
It is about what her journey may help you see in your own.
