đ About This Workshop
This training module is designed to provide HR professionals, people managers, and recruitment leads with the knowledge and tools necessary to improve employee retention, performance management, and employee engagement. The course covers the key frameworks for conducting performance reviews, understanding employee retention factors, and utilizing data-driven tools like the UWES, Gallup 12, and Job Satisfaction Surveys.
Participants will also learn practical strategies for creating performance goals, conducting competency-based appraisals, and fostering an engaging work environment that enhances both individual and organizational performance.

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Understand the key factors infl uencing employee retention and performance, including recruitment strategies and person-organization fit;
- be familiar with various performance appraisal frameworks and how to apply them to measure employee effectiveness;
- learn to set SMART goals and OKRs for employee performance;
- gain hands-on experience in developing competency-based appraisals;
- understand the different dimensions of employee engagement and satisfaction, and how to measure them using standardized tools like the UWES, Gallup 12, and Job Satisfaction Surveys; and
- be equipped to create custom surveys and weightage formulas to assess and track employee performance, engagement, and satisfaction.

- Lectures: To provide theoretical grounding and best practices in employee retention, performance management, and engagement.
- Hands-on Activities: Participants will apply concepts through group exercises, such as developing competency matrices, creating performance goals, and building survey tools.
- Interactive Discussions: Facilitated peer discussions to encourage the sharing of experiences and insights on employee retention strategies.
- Tool Development: Participants will create and utilize tools like the UWES and Gallup 12 surveys to measure employee satisfaction and engagement.

- Weightage Formula for Performance: A completed performance scoring model using job goals, competencies, and team-based KPIs with assigned weightages.
- Engagement & Satisfaction Data Insights: Analysis of survey data, identifying trends in employee engagement and satisfaction.
