About this Event
Entrepreneurship is often celebrated for its freedom, impact, and potential. But behind the scenes, it can also bring pressure, uncertainty, and emotional strain that are rarely discussed openly.
This event invites you into a different kind of conversation.
As part of Mental Health Awareness Week (May 4–10, 2026), we are creating a space where entrepreneurs can come together to explore the emotional realities of building a business — honestly, openly, and without judgment.
What to Expect?
The evening will begin with a fireside chat featuring entrepreneurs and ecosystem voices, followed by a facilitated community discussion designed to encourage reflection and shared experience.
Together, we’ll explore:
- The emotional impact of setbacks, pivots, and uncertainty
- The pressure to stay confident while navigating doubt
- Burnout and the challenge of sustaining energy over time
- The impact of entrepreneurship on identity, relationships, and self-worth
- Loneliness and the need for safe spaces to speak openly
- Rebuilding confidence after difficult periods
Why this conversation matters?
Many entrepreneurs carry their struggles in silence. Over time, this can lead to isolation, burnout, and hesitation to seek support. This event is designed to break that cycle — by creating a space where founders feel seen, supported, and less alone.
Who should attend?
- Early-stage entrepreneurs and startup founders
- Entrepreneurs who have experienced setbacks or transitions
- Women entrepreneurs navigating visibility and resilience
- Newcomer and immigrant founders building in new environments
- Ecosystem partners supporting entrepreneur well-being
What will you take away?
- A sense of connection and shared experience
- A new perspective on failure and resilience
- Practical insights to support your well-being as a founder
- Renewed confidence and motivation
- Awareness of available mental health resources and support
We also invite you to take this opportunity to learn more about how Futurpreneur supports entrepreneurs beyond financing — including resources, guidance, and initiatives focused on well-being.
Please note: While a therapist will be present to support the discussion, this is a group event and not a private or confidential session. We encourage everyone to participate in a way that feels comfortable to them.
