About this Event
When an emergency happens, having a plan can make all the difference.
Join Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity in partnership with the City of Dallas for Emergency Preparedness: Ready When It Matters, an educational class designed to help you and your household prepare for unexpected emergencies.
During this session, participants will learn about emergency planning, essential supplies, preparing an emergency kit, important documents, household safety, and resources that may be available before, during, and after an emergency.
You'll also learn practical steps you can take to prepare your home, create a plan for your household, and know what to do when an emergency occurs.
Whether you're creating an emergency plan for the first time or updating your current one, this class will help you feel more informed and prepared to protect yourself, your family, and your home when it matters most.
