Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) Training – Bolton
Learn essential lifesaving skills and gain the confidence to respond when someone needs your help.
Community Medics CIC is delivering a one-day Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course at Bolton Central Library and Museum on Monday 15th February 2027.
Whether you need first aid training for your workplace, volunteer with a community organisation, or simply want to be better prepared for an emergency, this practical course will give you the knowledge and confidence to act.
What will you learn?
Our course combines practical demonstrations, hands-on activities and essential first aid knowledge, including:
- Roles and responsibilities of a first aider
- Infection prevention and control
- Primary and secondary surveys
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
- Using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- The recovery position
- Responding to choking emergencies
- Recognising and managing seizures
- Controlling bleeding and managing minor injuries
- Recognising and responding to shock
Who is this course for?
This course is suitable for employees requiring first aid training, small business owners, community volunteers, charity workers and individuals wanting to learn potentially lifesaving skills.
No previous first aid experience is required.
