When you are responsible for children, you need first aid training built around the emergencies they are most likely to face. ❤️Emergency Child Care First Aid with CPR/AED is a one-day Canadian Red Cross course for parents, grandparents, babysitters, nannies, camp staff, coaches and anyone caring for infants and children.
You will learn how to respond confidently to:
• Choking, breathing emergencies and cardiac arrest
• Allergic reactions and anaphylaxis
• Seizures, diabetic emergencies and poisoning
• Bleeding, burns, head injuries, broken bones and sprains
• Fever, dehydration, heat and cold emergencies
• Infant and child CPR, plus AED use
This is practical, hands-on training. You will have time to practise the skills, ask questions and leave knowing what to do when a child needs help. 🩹
Successful participants receive a 3-year Canadian Red Cross Emergency Child Care First Aid with CPR/AED certification, often required in professional child care settings.
