Therapy room safety meets the healing power of the rave.
EMDR Dance Party brings the science of EMDR into a whole new setting, blending music, bilateral stimulation, movement, and the power of coming together in person.
Join us for a one-of-a-kind healing rave inside The Church in Ocean Park, a beautiful, candlelit sanctuary transformed into a dance floor with immersive projections and electric beats.
Building on our first EMDR Dance Party, this next chapter takes the experience even deeper, weaving guided EMDR-inspired practices, bilateral stimulation, and resourcing techniques throughout the night. Led by psychotherapist Jane Garnett, these exercises invite you to explore your inner world, loosen old patterns, and open up new possibilities—all while leaving plenty of room to let loose, set free, and enjoy the energy of the room.
Friday the 13th. A different kind of party. A different kind of release.
This isn’t ecstatic dance. It’s a space for women, introverts and extroverts alike, to have their own experience—whether that means dancing wildly with others or quietly exploring their inner world.
No dance experience needed. No forced connecting. All guidance and participation are optional.
Come ready to move, feel, and celebrate your aliveness.

Tickets: General Admission $30
Parking: The church has a designated parking lot- please take care to park respectfully to make the most of the space. First come, first serve and then, when full, it's street parking.
What to wear: Anything goes! Consider what helps you feel free in your body and joyful in your being. Bare feet and socks encouraged; clean sneakers welcome.
