Embrace Hope 2026Join us for the 12th Annual Embrace Hope, Recovery Point West Virginia’s largest fundraising event, as we come together to celebrate recovery, honor achievement, and raise vital support for the individuals and families we serve.
This special evening will feature inspiring stories of hope and recovery, along with recognition of individuals whose dedication reflects the heart of our mission. We will honor our program alumni and recognize our Employee of the Year and Volunteer of the Year—celebrating resilience, service, and the life-changing power of second chances.
Featuring Murphy Jensen
This year, we are proud to welcome Murphy Jensen as our featured speaker.
Murphy rose to international fame as a professional tennis player, capturing the 1993 French Open doubles championship alongside his brother, Luke Jensen. Behind the success, however, Murphy faced addiction and the pressures that came with life in the spotlight.
His journey ultimately became one of recovery, rebuilding, and purpose. Today, Murphy openly shares his experiences to encourage others and remind individuals and families that recovery is possible. His message of courage, perseverance, second chances, and hope speaks directly to anyone facing hardship or supporting someone they love.
Through his story, Murphy offers a powerful perspective on overcoming adversity, rebuilding a life, and embracing the hope recovery can bring.
Embrace Hope 2026 will take place on Friday, November 13, 2026, at Marshall Health Arena. Doors open at 5:00 PM, with the program beginning at 6:30 PM.
