When people repeatedly override their bodies to avoid conflict, disappointment or disapproval, it can become difficult to recognize their own limits and desires. They may understand boundaries intellectually, but still freeze, appease or automatically say yes in the moments that matter.Your Body Already Knows is a three-hour somatic intensive designed to help you reconnect with the wisdom of your body, recognize the patterns that pull you away from yourself, and practice boundaries that are both compassionate and clear.
Through guided somatic practices, personal reflection, and gentle relational exercises, you’ll explore:
-How your body communicates yes, no, maybe and not yet
-Somatic practices for reconnecting with your needs, preferences and internal signals
-The difference between a true boundary, a protective reaction and the discomfort that sometimes accompanies growth
-How people-pleasing and self-abandonment show up in the nervous system
-How to pause before automatically agreeing or overriding yourself
-Clear, kind language for communicating a boundary without overexplaining
-How to remain rooted in yourself when someone is disappointed or responds differently than you hoped

Mia Becker is a somatic therapist, coach, and facilitator who helps people pick up their body-led compass and listen to the direction it’s pointing in so that they can confidently move towards their true north.
