✨ SOMETHING NEW IS MOVING IN PALM BEACH COUNTY! ✨EMBODHIMENT DANCE × DELRAY BALLROOM
More than learning steps.
Join us Thursday, October 8, for the launch of Embodhiment Dance—an evening dedicated to movement, connection, expression and the joy of social dance!
Embodhiment is a different kind of partner-dance experience. We begin by connecting with our own bodies, deepen our awareness through connection with others, and bring it all together through music and movement.
💃 FEATURED INSTRUCTOR — DR. MARISSA IVETTE
A Doctor of Podiatric Medicine, longtime dance performer, teacher and passionate community builder, Marissa brings a unique understanding of the body to Sensual Bachata.
At the heart of her teaching is nonviolent, nonverbal communication through movement—cultivating safety, listening, connection and authentic expression between partners.
🌿 EMBODIMENT WORKSHOP — JUSTIN ROBERTS
We begin with a short workshop exploring natural posture, structural alignment and body awareness.
Drawing from his background in craniosacral therapy, massage, yoga, martial arts and movement, Justin helps us become more grounded, present and connected to our bodies before we take a dance step.
First, feel yourself. Then connect with another. Then dance.
🔥 SENSUAL BACHATA CLASS
Dr. Marissa leads us into an embodied partner-dance experience where movement becomes a conversation between two people.
🎧 BACHATA & LATIN SOCIAL — DJ 7 SIETE
Then we open the floor for an evening of mostly Bachata music, dancing and community with the legendary DJ 7 Siete!
Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced dancer, you're welcome to join us.
