Location: Wellington County Museum and Archives
536 Wellington Road 18, Fergus
 Time: 10:00 AM–12:00 PM

“The program is 2 hours in length and explores 4 main topics of rocks and minerals. We go into the gorge and explore how they are formed and discuss how the Elora gorge is formed. We will complete an activity challenging students to make a structure that can withstand erosion. We will attempt to identify rocks and minerals as well as categorize them between Ingenious, Sedimentary, and Metamorphic, and finally challenge students to think how different materials will change how humans use rocks and minerals to build.”
Please let me know if you are interested in coming, as I need to provide the museum with an estimated number of participants by October 10th. (Limited space)
Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
Thank you!
