The Case of the Christmas Card
TUESDAY 8 December 7.30pm St Michael's Church, Malton
We're delighted to welcome Elly Griffiths back to Malton following her sell-out event earlier this year.
Join the bestselling crime writer as she introduces The Case of the Christmas Card, her first festive novella featuring time-travelling detective Ali Dawson.
A few days before Christmas, Ali receives an unexpected visitor: Charles Dickens himself. As London prepares for the festive season, Ali and Dickens find themselves investigating a mysterious art fraud and the disappearance of a young girl. Can they solve both cases before Christmas Day and can Dickens find his way home?
With its seasonal setting, charming Dickens connection and irresistible mystery, this is the perfect event for the Christmas season.
The evening feels especially fitting in Malton, a town with strong links to Charles Dickens, making this a wonderful celebration of one of literature's most enduring figures.
Elly Griffiths is one of Britain's most popular crime writers, author of the Dr Ruth Galloway, Harbinder Kaur and Ali Dawson series. Her books have sold more than six million copies worldwide and she has received numerous awards for her contribution to crime fiction.
