Internationally recognised Australian songwriter and recording artist Elizabeth Riordan will bring her award-winning album, No Prospects, to the stage for a special live performance celebrating her songwriting journey. Elizabeth will perform a selection of songs from No Prospects, alongside a collection of previously unreleased songs “from the vault” – giving audiences a rare opportunity to hear music that has never been released.
The album takes its name from a cruel nickname Elizabeth was given by classmates during high school, who predicted she would never amount to anything. Years later, Elizabeth has reclaimed those words, transforming No Prospects into a celebration of resilience, self-belief and proving that other people’s expectations do not define your future.
Written during a songwriting residency in Atlanta, Georgia, No Prospects is a deeply personal collection exploring identity, hope, self-worth and the courage to create your own path.
Elizabeth’s career has taken her music around the world, with songs featured in film, television, Netflix productions and major video games. Her songwriting has received international recognition, including the Mark Award for Best Production Music Song (Vocal) and the 2025 InterContinental Music Award for Best Australasian Pop for Daisies.
In 2026, Elizabeth received two further InterContinental Music Awards for No Prospects, adding to her growing international recognition as a songwriter and recording artist. She also became a Voting Member of the Recording Academy (GRAMMY® Awards), marking another significant milestone in her international career.
Now, Elizabeth returns to her home region for an intimate evening featuring songs from her award-winning album, previously unreleased tracks from her songwriting archive.
Adding to the celebration of local talent, Geelong-based artist Stefan West will join Elizabeth as the support act, opening the evening with his own original music.
