Our StoryElgin hosted the Elgin Green Expo every year from 2009 through 2014. Those events taught families simple, useful ways to live greener. They helped local groups and businesses work together. Now, we are ready to bring the Expo back in 2026—bigger, clearer, and easier to act on.
Timing
The 2026 Elgin Green Expo will happen on Saturday, November 14th at Edward Schock Centre of Elgin between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm.
Vision
It is the vision of the Elgin Green Expo committee to create an annual event that is family friendly, accessible, and regional in nature with hands-on learning and interactive activities.
