Join us for the Elevate Orientation, your first step toward a stronger, more stable future!

Elevate is a free, comprehensive workforce development program supporting individuals experiencing homelessness, unemployed or underemployed residents of Forest Park. This session will introduce you to the many services available, including training, career coaching, and job placement—with support every step of the way.

Led by ACSS in partnership with Calvary Refuge, and powered by experts in career development and recruiting, Elevate connects you with real opportunities that lead to long-term employment and independence.

What to Expect at Orientation:

  • Explore how Elevate helps you find and keep meaningful work
  • Connect to job readiness and professional skills workshops
  • Learn about available resources for transportation, housing, and mental wellness
  • Hear how we partner with employers who are actively hiring
  • Ask questions and receive one-on-one guidance tailored to your needs

Strategic Training & Education Partnerships:

We’ve teamed up with respected institutions to help you build the skills employers want:

  • Clayton State University: Access to adult education, digital literacy, and industry-focused workshops.
  • Atlanta Technical College Hands-on training and certifications in high-demand fields like healthcare, IT, HVAC, and automotive repair
  • Clayton County Public Schools GED prep and foundational education to ensure every participant is ready for next steps in work or training.

Support Services Include:

  • Job readiness and skills training
  • MARTA transportation assistance
  • Housing navigation and stability services
  • Referrals to childcare and mental health resources
