Αυτό το δυναμικό σεμινάριο βασίζεται στην εμπειρία της Sabrina και του Rafa ως επαγγελματιών χορευτών και ερμηνευτών σωματικού θεάτρου. Με βάση τη σύνδεση αναπνοής-σώματος και τον καθοδηγούμενο αυτοσχεδιασμό, η πρακτική προσφέρει στους συμμετέχοντες προσιτά εργαλεία για να εμβαθύνουν την κατανόησή τους σχετικά με την ατομική βιομηχανική και τις αρχές της εργασίας στο πάτωμα. Επηρεασμένοι από την τεχνική Flying Low και με πάνω από δέκα χρόνια πρακτικής της Capoeira, το σεμινάριο εξερευνά τις σπείρες, τον συντονισμό και την αποτελεσματικότητα στην πτώση και άνοδο από το πάτωμα. Οι συμμετέχοντες ενθαρρύνονται να ξεπεράσουν τα συνηθισμένα μοτίβα, βελτιώνοντας τη σαφήνεια, την ποιότητα και την πρόθεση στην κίνησή τους.
Το εργαστήριο εξελίσσεται σε μια συνθετική και θεατρική εξερεύνηση. Η εστίαση μετατοπίζεται προς τη δραματουργία του σώματος, αναπτύσσοντας έναν ερμηνευτή που όχι μόνο κινείται, αλλά κατανοεί τι κάνει και γιατί. Μέσα από σωματικές ασκήσεις, αυτοσχεδιασμό και την ενσωμάτωση της φωνής, οι χορευτές εξερευνούν πώς η προσωπική ιστορία και οι εσωτερικές συγκρούσεις μπορούν να διαμορφώσουν μια αυθεντική σκηνική παρουσία. Το εργαστήριο στοχεύει στην καλλιέργεια ενός σώματος που μπορεί να σκέφτεται, να αμφισβητεί και να αφηγείται ιστορίες, όπου η τεχνική και η έκφραση συναντώνται σε μια ουσιαστική παραστατική δράση.

This dynamic workshop draws from Sabrina’s and Rafa’s experience as professional dance artists and physical theatre performers. Rooted in breath-body connection and guided improvisation, the practice offers participants accessible tools to deepen their understanding of individual biomechanics and floor-work principles. Influenced by the Flying Low technique and over ten years of Capoeira practice, the session explores spirals, coordination, and efficiency in entering and exiting the floor. Participants are encouraged to move beyond habitual patterns, refining clarity, quality, and intention in their movement.
The workshop evolves into a compositional and theatrical exploration. The focus shifts toward the dramaturgy of the body, developing a performer who not only moves but understands what they are doing and why. Through physical tasks, improvisation, and the integration of voice, dancers explore how personal history and internal conflict can inform authentic stage presence. The workshop aims to cultivate a body that can think, question, and tell stories, where technique and expression meet in meaningful performative action.

Short Bio:
ELELEI was founded in 2020 by Sabrina Gargano (Italy) and Rafa Jagat (Valencia) to merge dance and theatre into a shared artistic language. Their first work, A CIEGAS (2020), premiered in 2021 and won First Prize at MAIS IMAGINARIUS (Portugal) and the Audience Award at the 35th International Choreographer Competition Hannover. The duet tours internationally.
They created the film MAY YOU LISTEN? (2021) and the stage work MARATHON (2022) for Jasmin Vardimon JV2, touring the UK. Their later works include SOY MADERA (2022), TOO MUCH (2024), and AUX, co-created in Austria with Akrosphere. They also collaborate as dramaturgs and choreographers for other companies.
