Scratchin Jackson started dj’ing in almost 3 decades
ago, circa ’97, in Jackson, MS with the early years also
spent in Orlando, FL and New Orleans, LA. A
turntablist at his core, he was dropping DnB and
Hiphop sets all across the Southeast through the
mid-2000s with side quests in every other genre he
could. After moving to San Diego, Sxn focused on all
vinyl open-format sets across CA from SD to
Sacramento while still dropping heavy bass music at
every opportunity. Starting in 2015, Sxn focused on
livestreams focusing on DnB & classic Hiphop with
regular Breakbeat, House, Bass music, and throwback
music video sets. Having spent almost the last decade
in Tampa, FL, Sxn has also expanded into doing a Live
PA with a handful of hardware synths and his trusty
MPC under the moniker of POSM.
