SACRED BUZZ (Neo-Psych, Berlin)The 4-piece psych garage band from Berlin materialized in the summer of 2023 and became soon known for stirring up Berlin's psych underground scene with their mesmerizing blend of raw energy, kaleidoscopic patterns and psychedelic rhythm.
Sacred Buzz's self-titled debut LP explores the nature of reality through sci-fi and philosophical ideas, woven together with cinematic twists and vivid imagery. Surreal lyrics emerge from an echoing voice, keeping you suspended while the locked-in krautrock groove of bass and drums anchors your body to the earth. Raw, reverberating guitars laced with fuzz paint intricate patterns across the mind, while droning organ textures provide an underlying ambience that completes Sacred Buzz's sonic palette.
"Berlin’s Sacred Buzz have made a terrific debut, with the four-piece bringing together psych rock, a love of science fiction and some rather strange ideas about dreams and reality across eight songs. " - It's Psychedelic Baby Magazine
