Seeking some calm during the campaign noise?Looking for a place to pray for our nation, our leaders, our people?
Come to the Election Day Vigil hosted by Dearborn First UMC, (22124 Garrison Street), in partnership with Downriver Church and Good Shepherd United Methodist Church.
Dearborn First UMC will be open all day, from 7 a.m. - 8 p.m. Come when you can, leave when you need to.
Every hour, on the hour, a wide range of voices will share:
REFLECTION • PRAYER • MUSIC
for unity, peace, and hope
As United Methodists, we hold voting as a moral civic duty and inalienable human right. We support a fair and equitable election process and equal access to the polls for all voters.
This is a non-partisan event.
Come find calm amid the tension as you reflect on the day, lift your voice through your vote, and pray for unity, peace and hope for our nation, its leaders, and its people.
