Elderflower Forage & Nature Walk
An introduction to our nature walk series. Join us for a leisurely walk and elderflower forage through Hackney Marshes.
What to expect:
- Connection: a chance to meet and connect with others and nature.
- Relaxation: Unwind and connect as we observe, listen, smell, feel and taste our way through Hackney Marshes.
- Forage: Forage elderflower as we walk through the wetlands.
- Learn: How to make elderflower cordial.
- Share: Plant knowledge and recipes.
Time & Location
2:30pm - We will meet at the Tram Store (5 minute walk from Clapton Station)
2:45pm - Head towards Hackney Marshes for a walk.
4:30pm - We will arrive back at the World Peace Garden to make our flower prints.
What to bring:
- Comfortable shoes for walking.
- Thermos or water.
- A bag or basket to collect your elderflower.

Hosted by Emily (she/them) (PGDip, BA, Msc) an arts therapist with experience working in the NHS and non-profits, supporting people predominantly from the Global Majority, members of the LGBTQIA+ community and neurodivergent individuals, with 8 years of experience running therapeutic art groups. Offering a warm, grounded presence, ensuring a warm and nurturing group experience.
