About this Event
Jobling & Golightly head off for an adventure across the Atlantic as The Misfits of London return to what they enjoy referring to as their spiritual home, The Waldorf Hilton, at the very heart of London's West End.
Join us for a wonderful night as we raise money for the fabulous charity 'Suited & Booted' with a cocktail reception, a welcome from Maria Lenn (head of the charity), a fashion parade (how could they not after last year's success) and a performance by The Misfits of London of their latest touring adventure, "The Gin Chronicles at Sea".
During the interval, food will be provided (whilst it's 1947 in many ways, we don't subscribe to the rationing part) and a range of sumptuous drinks will be available from the bar.
As to the adventure, well, after a visit from his Aunt, notable half-wit John Jobling opts for the delights of the Atlantic Ocean aboard one of the most luxurious passenger liners ever built, insisting his housemaid Doris Golightly goes with him. What should be a charming voyage instead becomes anything but! Join us for fast-paced 1940s repartee & lashings of joy in what Broadway Baby described as "A Must-see!"
