About this Event
As the globe turns and night follows day, how can humankind understand its place in the more-than-human world? This Turning World is an evocative performance that brings together music, poetry and visual images in a reflection on the natural world and our connection to it.
Drawing on musical traditions from all over the world, students from the Royal College of Music present a programme inspired by birds, animals, landscapes, rhythms of nature, and the changing cycles of our planet. This performance invites you to pause, listen and reflect on the natural environment: your impact on it, its impact on you.
Performers:
- Singers: Natalka Pasicznyk, Tiana Oberoi, Ingrid Leung
- Piano: Mar Umbert Kimura
