For thousands of years women gathered in community, passed down sacred knowledge, and raised generations rooted in devotion and belonging. That is the Sisterhood we are restoring, in El Paso, TX, every third Saturday of the month, always complimentary.
The Sanctuary is where women come to reclaim their inner Sanctuary, evolve, healing seven generations before and seven generations after through Kundalini Yoga Meditation, the Christ Consciousness teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda, and the power of women connecting with their ancestral gifts together.
When women gather in person they co-regulate each other’s nervous systems. This means your body learns safety from the women beside you. Your heart rate steadies. Your stress response is reeducated. You breathe deeper and more consciously impacting your overall health. You access clarity, creativity, and peace that isolation keeps out of reach. You increase your energy and vitality to remember who you are outside of survival. Women have always been each other’s medicine and science now confirms what the matriarch always knew.
Epigenetics confirms it further: one woman who chooses to evolve in community changes what gets passed down. A mother’s re-educated nervous system changes her children’s baseline before birth.
Kirtan Kriya, the 12-minute Kundalini Yoga sound meditation we practice at every Sanctuary, has been shown to increase cellular repair by 43%, reduce cortisol, improve memory and cognitive function, and improve sleep.
Christ Consciousness is the byproduct of this evolution of your nervous system, has nothing to do with religion, and is the science of kriya yoga.

**Our Facilitators**
Every Sovereign Sisterhood Sanctuary chapter is led by a trained facilitator, a woman who has walked this path, completed the SSS facilitator training, and made a commitment to hold the circle with integrity, devotion, and the principles of the Sanctuary.
Come in comfortable clothing you can move and breathe in. Bring a journal and a yoga mat and/or meditation pillow if you have on. Seating is available for those that don't bring anything.
