Ride With Us! 🚲
ActiveSGV's Youth Community Access program invites youth from El Monte and South El Monte to join us for a free community clean up bike ride! We’ll ride together from the Jeff Seymour Family Center to Bosque, and enjoy a free lunch as well! Clean-up supplies like gloves and trash bags will be provided.
The pace will be relaxed, and the route has been selected with rider comfort and safety in mind.
Event Details
- Who: Youth ages 12–26 residing in El Monte or South El Monte. Chaperones are welcome!
- Date: Saturday, October 24, 2026
- Cost: Free
- Start Location: Jeff Seymour Family Center, 10900 Mulhall St, El Monte, CA 91731
- Destination: Bosque Park
- Bikes: Bring your own bike, or reserve a free e-bike during registration while supplies last
- Registration: Pre-registration is required for all participants
- Distance: 12 miles roundtrip.
Note: The event end time and return ride details are still being finalized. Registered riders will receive final event details by email before event day.
What to Bring
Required:
- Refillable water bottle
- Sturdy, closed-toe shoes
Recommended:
- Comfortable clothing and light layers for the evening
- An extra layer or jacket for cooler temperatures after sunset

Waivers & Guardian Requirements
- Waiver Required: Every rider must submit a signed waiver before participating.
- Riders Under 18: A parent or legal guardian must sign the waiver. A chaperone must be present.
- Important: Riders without a signed waiver will not be permitted to participate.
Waivers will be available to download ahead of the event.
Getting There & Parking
- Public Transit: The Jeff Seymour Family Center is accessible by public transit. Use Metro’s Trip Planner to plan your trip.
- Parking: Free parking is available on-site.
Safety Precautions
Your safety is our top priority.
- Hydration: Bring a water bottle and stay hydrated before, during, and after the ride.
- Preparation: Eat before the event, wear comfortable clothing, and bring an extra layer for the evening.
- Weather Policy: If the ride needs to be modified, postponed, or canceled due to weather conditions, registered participants will be notified at least 24 hours in advance.
Waitlist Policy
If the ride reaches capacity, join the waitlist! If a spot becomes available, you will have 24 hours from your Eventbrite notification to claim your ticket before it is released to the next person.
