For one night only, El-Funoun Palestinian Popular Dance Troupe brings its signature production Ya Saheb Al Tair (The Bird Owner) to Mississauga.
Thirty dancers travel from Ramallah to tell a story of identity, belonging, memory and freedom. Drawing on Palestinian heritage and brought to life through contemporary choreography, music and striking ensemble movement, the performance is a celebration of generations of culture and community.
Founded in 1979, El-Funoun is a non-profit organization and one of Palestine's leading institutions for dance and the performing arts. This three-city Canadian tour marks the troupe's first international tour in over ten years, making it a rare chance to see them live.
Bring your family and friends for an evening that celebrates Palestinian art, culture and expression.
