Join us for an informative and supportive session designed for Parent Carers of children and young people with additional needs being delivered by SENDIASS
Whether you are new to the Education, Health and Care (EHC) process or would like a better understanding of your child's EHC Plan, this session will guide you through the key stages.
- What will be coverd:
- What an EHC Plan is,
- How to request an EHC needs assessment
- Who contributes information to the plan
- The purpose of each section.
- What to do if you disagree with parts of the plan
- How schools or educational settings are named
- What happens during the Annual Review process.
There will be opportunities to ask questions and gain practical information to help you feel more confident in supporting your child throughout their SEND journey.
