The long nights have come, and the old ways wake with it. Beyond the last lantern, the forest holds its breath. Frost creeps across bone and bark, smoke curls from the fires, and something ancient stirs beneath the snow. Long before carols and candles, there were other rites: offerings at the treeline, masks of antler and skull, songs to keep the cold at bay... or to call something in.
Tonight, the veil thins. Horned figures move through the haze, witches trade secrets by firelight, and the hypnotic pulse of music rises like a drumbeat from the frozen earth. Spirits of the wild wood slip among dancers, and no one knows who came to worship or who came to be worshipped.
Crown yourself in antlers, wrap yourself in fur and bone, or summon the ice witch within.
The fires are lit. The old gods are hungry.
