Reading, writing, arithmetic. For a long time, the list of foundational skills barely changed. Then came digital literacies, and now generative AI, reshuffling the deck once again: why learn to write if a machine writes for us? And conversely, how can anyone use these tools meaningfully without the knowledge to judge the quality of what they produce?This is the tension our AI cycle opens with. Together with Marco D'Amico, Deputy Managing Director at the Digital Learning Hub, we'll explore a question now running through every level of education: how can we combine foundational knowledge, digital literacies and AI to enrich learning?
No lecture, no keynote. The EdTech Cafés are designed as a conversation at human scale, where everyone arrives with their own questions, experiences and doubts. One moderator, one guest, around fifteen participants: teachers, students, researchers, parents or simply the curious.
Discussions take place in French and English, in an informal setting, over a drink.
