About this Event
Do you ever notice yourself getting lost, stuck, or not quite your authentic self when dancing with others? Or losing yourself in connection with others? Ecstatic dance is a practice for that, and much more.
This evening we'll practice coming home to our breath, our feet, our fingers, and everything in between. We'll find rhythms that feel good in our bodies and learn to hold the fine balance between our own dance and the dance of our peers around us. Smoulder will open with some light facilitation to bring us into embodiment, self-expression, and self-confidence.
DJ Soya will take us on a magical musical journey, blending genres and delicious musical expressions. Be ready to adventure and express it all over this 2.5-hour arc. Bring your slow sensual moves, your primal rage, and those sexy body rolls.
We'll close the night with Chantal's sound healing and yoga nidra as she guides us into stillness, bringing our systems to a restful state.

Guidelines
This is a sober event. We invite you to lean into the experience of dancing fully sober, using movement to work through whatever comes up and is alive for you in the evening.
This is a no-shoes event; indoor dance shoes are allowed for medical reasons.
Wear whatever feels comfortable and inspires you to move and express yourself authentically. Bottoms stay on. Flowy, colorful, creative, and stylish clothing welcome and appreciated!
New to ecstatic dance? Welcome! We've curated this night for all experience levels.
Consent, care, attunement, and respect for each other's boundaries are core to this space. In the opening circle we'll build a container together, going over the guidelines that make this a great evening for everyone.
