What is an ecstatic dance?
Ecstatic dances originated at a yoga retreat center on the Big Island of Hawaii. They are structured to provide a space for every dancer to express his or her own unique movement.
We have a few simple rules in ecstatic dance:
✨️ Be present, no phones on the dance floor.
✨️ Limited talking on the dance floor, there is space for conversation in the venue elsewhere.
✨️ No alcohol or other recreational drugs.
✨️ Consent. Don't touch other people or take photos of them without clear consent.
✨️ SPACE IS LIMITED ✨️ RSVP with your ticket before we sell out.
Bring water, wear comfortable clothing, yoga mats are provided for $1 or bring your own.
