About this Event
Come as you are. Move what wants to move. Breathe into what wants space.
No dance experience needed. No breathwork experience needed. You can sit out anything, at any time, and still be fully part of the evening.
What happens
Over two and a half hours, we move through five phases together:
- Arrive and connect. A gentle landing: settling in, meeting the room, getting a feel for the space.
- Move. Ecstatic dance is free-form movement with no steps to learn and no right way to do it. Dance alone, with eyes closed, or connect with others only if and when you choose.
- Activate. A guided breathwork practice using rhythmic breathing and music. You stay in charge of your own pace the whole time.
- Release. Space for whatever wants to move: energy, emotion, laughter, stillness.
- Integrate. A slow, quiet close so you leave grounded, not spun out.
What people often notice
Many people leave feeling lighter, more energized, or deeply rested. Some feel emotion move through them. Some just have a great time dancing. All of it is welcome, and none of it is required.
Why this evening is different
Most ecstatic dance and breathwork events are led by DJs or yoga teachers. This one is led by two licensed clinical professional counselors who specialize in somatic work. That means a carefully paced arc, real attention to the room, and support available if anything gets big. The group is kept small so each person gets that attention.
