ECIRPD’s Building Blocks to Grant Writing is a comprehensive day-and-a-half training course taking place November 9–10 designed to provide participants with the knowledge and practical skills needed to successfully navigate the entire grant process, from initial research through post-award administration. The course covers grant opportunity research, document gathering and preparation, understanding the key components of a grant application, and developing strong responses for each section of an application. Participants will also learn how to manage grants responsibly after an award, meet local, state, and federal reporting and compliance requirements, maintain proper documentation, and serve as effective stewards of grant funds. The course also addresses how to respond to unsuccessful applications, learn from rejection, and strengthen future submissions. By covering grant programs and requirements at the local, state, and federal levels, Building Blocks to Grant Writing provides participants with a well-rounded understanding of both grant writing and grant administration. Registration is $225 per participant. Lunch will be provided on Day 1, and snacks and drinks will be available on both days.
