About this Event
Echoes of the unknown is a project redefining contemporary music and sound
healing in sacred space. A concert bringing together artists from different musical
backgrounds and cultures.
Musicians will include Alex Dmochowski (wind instruments) and Catarina Carvalho (vocals), alongside guests Emilija Karaliūtė on Kanklės (Lithuanian harp) and Elizabeth Nott on percussion and vocals.
This is a silent concert where you are invited to lie down, sit up or move intuitively to the music. There will be no talking and no clapping, exploring the dynamics
between sound, silence and presence.
A space for you to BE. To go inwards and tune in to your senses.
There will be yoga mats, cushions and props available, as well as some tea.
We aim to bring awareness about styles and playing techniques and explore how
different genres can merge and work in harmony.
Expect new, improvised soundscapes and meditation music.We promote inclusivity by bringing different musical styles and instruments together: celebrating music from around the world!
