Echo & The Bunnymen have announced an extra date to their UK tour for November 2926 at New Brighton Floral Pavilion on Monday 16th November. The tour is in support of their new album, Apples For Isaac, out now. Tickets for the extra date go on sale Friday 2nd October, 10:00am. Don't miss out.
Apple for Isaac is the bands first album of new music in twelves year. It is the band's 13th album and follows 2014's Meteorites and the 2918 compilation The Stars, the Oceans & the Moon.
An untouchable voice singing lyrics that could well be poetry from the stars, set against a musical backdrop capable of levitating listeners without warning - Apples for Isaac is a monumental return from Echo & The Bunnymen. After years spent performing their immense catalogue of classics to audiences around the world, the Bunnymen have recorded an album that is bold and confident and at times even offers the listener a loving embrace. Across Apples for Isaac's eleven songs, Ian McCulloch, Will Sergeant and the band have created an utterly addictive collection that perfectly captures the very essence of what makes the Bunnymen so great.
Apples for Isaac features peerless drummer Clem Burke playing on ten of the album’s eleven tracks. The Bunnymen noted his contribution to the album: “The mighty, legendary Clem Burke
- longtime friend of Mac - was integral to the making of the album, and heartbreakingly passed away during its completion... love you Clem X
