THE ECD DIVERS SOCIAL IS BACK!If you’ve been to one, you know. The dive stories get better as the night goes on, a quick catch-up turns into planning the next adventure, and somehow you’re still talking when it’s time to go home. ECD socials have a reputation for a reason. We’ve missed them. We’ve missed having you all in one room.
This community has always been the best part of ECD. You show up for us, for each other, and for the diving. We love you for it. So we’re bringing more community events back to the calendar, starting with a proper get-together to round out the year.
Join us on Saturday, December 12 at K-Bok Korean Fried Chicken in Union Square, Somerville. Old dive buddies, new faces, good food, a few drinks, and plenty of “you had to be there” stories. No drysuit required.
We’ve got a DJ to keep things moving, and we’re working on adding karaoke too. Consider that your warning.
Been diving with us for years? Get the crew together. Just joined the community? Come meet your people. Haven’t been in the water for a while? You’re still one of us. Come solo, bring a buddy, or round up the whole dive club. There’s room in this community for all of you.
And because one excuse to get everyone together apparently wasn’t enough, we’re celebrating Nick’s birthday too. Make of that what you will.
We’ll kick things off at 7pm. Plan on 7–11pm, with anyone who wants to keep going welcome to stay until the venue closes.

Food and drinks are available to purchase from K-Bok’s regular menu. This is a 21+ event. Wear your favorite dive shirt, hoodie, hat, or whatever gives you away as one of us.
